Finkelstein, Rachel, 1984, Thesis, "An investigation of some factors affecting the use of computers for image-making" Other thesis, Royal College of Art.
Abstract or Description: | The author undertook 3 tasks in order to investigate some factors which are affecting the use of computers-For image-making. 1. A survey of computer art. 2. A Questionnaire and conclusions to the investigation 3. A video of computer image—making techniques, to gain some insight into the problems and possibilities of this technology for artists. With a background in art this has proved to be a difficult programme of study for the author. However, this has made it possible to approach the study from an artist's perspective and to try to arrive at an understanding of relevant computer software, system and processes from this point of view. |
